Another very popular kiddie ride from Sellner Mfg. The dragons are available in various colors, but the green ones are most common. Seems like every year, one of them gets beheaded on the road.
Dorney Park Sign
The original Alfundo on a long -gone sign. This was the symbol of Dorney Park and the sign was visible from several roads near the park entrance for many years.
DownDraft
A very popular thrill ride that operates at a lot of parks and carnivals. Earlier versions were called Hurricanes. It operates on air that makes a loud sound as it goes up in the air. This brand new one is at Knoebels Amusement Park in PA, manufactured by Battech Enterprises.
Dragon Wagon Roller Coaster
A very popular family ride on many midways, manufactured by Wisdom. This one belongs to Snyder's Amusements in PA.
Eli Ferris Wheel
This Eli Ferris Wheel is owned by Ray Cammack Shows.
Elmwood Zoo Carousel
A pretty little Americana Carousel is placed in the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown PA.
Enterprise
A classic very large spinning ride made by German manufacturer Huss. This is a portable version owned by Funtastic Shows as seen at the Puyallup Fair a few years ago.
Fairy Floss
The name for cotton candy in Australia. I did a few paintings for show owners there from photos.
Fireball
This is the updated version of the Ring of Fire, both manufactured by Larson International is found on many carnival midways.
Fireman's Carnival
A small carnival midway typical of a volunteer Fireman's carnival on the east coast. This was Taylor & Sons Amusements.
Fly-O-Plane In Flight
The planes rotate all the way upside down in addition to going in a circle. In spite of the simplicity this is not a kiddie ride or for the faint of heart! This was located at Lake Winnie Park in Chattanooga area. The ride was removed and there is maybe only one operating in the US now, in Oklahoma.

this is a beautiful Expo Wheel owned by the Houghton family. It appears at most of their large fairs in eastern PA, Delaware and Maryland. It was made by Wadkins.
