In the seventh grade, a friend's parents invited me along to this playhouse. It was the first professional stage play I'd every seen - "The Odd Couple". The playhouse burned to the ground a few years later.

Forksville Bridge
Still in daily use in Forksville PA way up in the boonies of Sullivan County. The General Store is still open next to it.
Fred Basset
This late lovable and goofy basset hound was owned by Cliff & Katie Lowe.
Finch's Country Store
A famous landmark in Pegram TN, this store sells everything from ice cream to worms, fishing and hunting licenses, pizza, beer, movies, you name it.

Once a small hotel on the rail line, it is the office for a campground along the Lycoming Creek in PA
Hillsgrove Covered Bridge
Loacated in in the wilds of Sullivan County, PA. One of at least three in that county.
Irises
These are a more comon variety of Iris. It is the state flower of Tenessee.
Jim Thorpe Rail Yard
A really interesting place for railfans to visit, the town of Jim Thorpe, PA.
Kayaks
Every nice day, the scenic Harpeth River in TN is full of canoes and kayaks and a few tubes too.
Kites At Seaside Park, NJ
Every Wednesday in the summer, thousands of people gather on the beach at Seaside Park to fly all types of kites - from small to exotic.
Linck Hill Inn
A gorgeous old mansion outside of Morris PA, in mountainous Tioga County.
It is used for retreats for crafts and faith groups. The Tiadaghton Quilt Guild meets there for a quilting weekend in March and it always snows. This is the weekend I took the photos in 2023
Lincoln Motor Court
The last operating motor court on the Lincoln Highway. It is located west of Bedford PA and has 12 little individual cottages. I stayed in one in July 2022. It is uttering charming.The new owner is restoring each of them but keeping the vintage theme. Support it – stay a few nights. Visit their website at www.lincolnmotorcourt.com
Logans Mill
The remains of a stone gristmill in Clinton County, PA, built around 1840. There's a covered bridge near it as well.
Lucy The Elephant
Lucy was built of wood in 1881 just south of Atlantic City NJ. It is located in Margate. It was totally restored over a two-year period and reopened in the fall of 2022.
It is 65 feet high and once was rented out as a hotel. It currently can be rented for special events. It is a fascinating place. Definitely worth a visit! Website for more info is https://lucytheelephant.org/
Lycoming County Fair Office
One of the oldest continually operating fairs in PA (Which has some really old fairs!). The office is charming. It's a great little agricultural fair and hasn't changed much since it started in 1870.
